Worship
at Becks In all things we do at Beck's, we seek to
glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Our corporate worship is
an overflowing of our daily lives and is a testimony of the
personal relationships that we each have with Jesus
Christ. Services Our 8:30 am Sunday service meets
in the Upper Fellowship Hall and is a time of worship that
is contemporary, led by the Pastor and the Praise Team. The
dress is casual, but the worship is intense and
Christ-centered. The 10:55 am Sunday service is a
blended service in a more traditional style. This service
meets in the sanctuary and is led by the Pastor and
Sanctuary Choir. We affirm that we were
created to be worshippers.
Worship in the New Testament does not present to us a
specific outline of outward form, but rather, the emphasis
is upon the heart of the worshipper. We are to "worship in
truth and spirit" (John 4:23-24) and
worship "by the Spirit of God" (Philippians
3:3). One of the last pictures of the Church is
the Church before the throne of God worshipping. What we
begun in our temporal lives will be lived out in eternity.

And they sang a new song: "You
are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals,
because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased
men for God from every tribe and language and people and
nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to
serve our God, and they will reign on the earth." Then I
looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering
thousands, and then thousand times ten thousand. They
encircled the throne and the living creatures and the
elders. In a loud voice they sang: "Worthy is the lamb,
who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and
strength and honor and glory and praise!" Then I heard
every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth
and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: "To him
who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and
honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" The four
living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down
and worshiped. (Revelation 5:9-14
NIV)
